About the Hudson Valley Regional Council Awards

The Hudson Valley Regional Council recognizes local municipalities doing extraordinary work in the Mid-Hudson Region in the areas of economic development, water quality planning, and clean energy and climate smart actions.

Mid-Hudson municipalities are selected by HVRC for their various achievements. The awards are:

Building Bridges Award - demonstrated a significant commitment to collaboration and partnership.

Climate Stalwart Award - recognition for sustained and exceptional contributions to climate action over an extended duration.

Commitment Award - exhibited exceptional dedication and productivity in a demanding environment and often times overcoming obstacles.

Impact Award - honors a recipient whose project has been especially significant and has far-reaching impact.

Momentum Award - achieved notable milestones in a remarkably brief timeframe.

Resilience Award - fosters community resilience through proactive initiatives.

 

The inaugural event was held on December 6, 2023 in Newburgh, NY.
